Our story began over 20 years ago across the globe as college students. Jennifer and I met while serving on a mission trip in Grindelwald, Switzerland in 2001. This was the beginning of our love of doing ministry together.

For twelve years, we served as Lead Pastors of Crosspointe Church in Ada, Oklahoma. In this time we saw hundreds of people come to know Jesus, the church grew in numbers, and had significant influence in reaching families in southern Oklahoma. During this time we were blessed with three incredible children; Haleigh, Carter and Griffin.

While in Ada, Jennifer and I began to sense a change in our future as God began to shape us for the next season in our lives. In December 2017, we moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado to plant Heights Church in January 2019. Heights impacted the northeast region of Colorado Springs for 2 years. In person and online (during the pandemic) we saw families come together, people come to know Jesus, and lives changed for eternity. Toward the end of that season, God ordained a beautiful merger between Heights and another spirit filled church in The Springs. The people of Heights are still impacting the community today. During this time, friends of ARC (Association of Related Churches) contacted us about a church in Laurel, Mississippi. As a family, we knew this was not just any call, it was destined. In May of 2021, our family moved to Laurel to lead Life Church into the future.

We consider it a great blessing to pastor Life Church with it’s unique, God-inspired story. On Mother’s Day in 1994 two congregations, Deeper Life and New Life, merged together to become one church. A few months later another church, Word of Life, merged creating even more momentum. From those humble beginnings Life Church has experienced growth, expanded to its new worship facility, and has seen thousands of people become followers of Christ.

Yet, we firmly believe that our greatest days lie ahead.
