Day 3 - "Dig it Before You Build it"

Day. 3 - "Dig it Before You Build It"
When we build homes there’s always a foundation work that must be done before putting any type of structure up. There always has to be some type of digging involved. This process is done so that the site is prepared for the structure. If we don’t prepare for God, the structure won’t work quite right. If I don’t set the atmosphere of prayer in my home, chances are it’s not going to last when I want to do it. Today is about setting ourselves up for God’s provision. Isaac knew all about this.

Genesis 26:18 says, “Isaac reopened the wells that had been dug in the days of his father Abraham, which the Philistines had stopped up after Abraham died. And he gave these wells the same names his father had given them.”

There have been foundations laid before you that must be reopened. Many times we want God to provide for us and we question why we don’t always see it happen. It is possible that we were not prepared for it. It’s possible that we never dug a well to receive His living water. Today we want to focus our prayer on preparation and expectation for what is coming. If it is healing you need, dig a well of prayer. If it’s a move of God you seek, dig a well of revival in your heart. What can I do to prepare for what God wants to pour in my life?

Prayer - “God we thank you for your provision. We thank you that you want to give us all that you have for us to experience. If there is ever a time where we need you, it’s now. We need you to fill up the areas where we are lacking. God give us the faith we need. Give us the blessing we have been praying for. Give us direction to go through the door you want us to. We are preparing for you. Amen.”
