The Holy Spirit Is Your Teacher

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!” (Isaiah 43:1b) In this Old Testament scripture, God is talking to His people Israel, and He is telling them not to fear for He has redeemed them and He calls them by name. He declares they are His. Yes, this is before Jesus came to the earth, but if this was true in the Old Testament, how much more is it true today after Jesus came, suffered, and died for your sins? His blood redeems you and you are now a child of God and a coheir with Jesus. You are a world overcomer (1 John 5:4-5), more than conquerors (Romans 8:37), you are the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath (Deuteronomy 28:13). You have not been
given a spirit of fear, but one of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Considering all of this you should be more resistant to fear than the people of the Old Testament. Walk through this day with your head held high knowing that you are redeemed, and God calls you by name—He knows every hair on your head. You are His child, therefore walk without fear in whatever you do today. Be bold and courageous ! Be blessed and be thankful this day. Thank You, Father God that You have redeemed me by the blood of Jesus. Thank You, Father, that I am Yours and that You have not given me a spirit of fear but a redeemed spirit that is full of Your power. As I walk through my busy day, I know that You walk with me but remind me of these facts when the cares of a the world close in on me and my concerns for my health, family, and work try to get the best of me. I will not fear, for You are with me. In Jesus’s name, I pray. Amen.
