"When Worry Loses It's Weight"

When Worry Loses It's Weight

Luke 12:32 NIV: "Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom."
We easily worry about our necessities, getting caught up in anxiety about what we will eat, drink, or wear. But, if we seek the kingdom of God first, we don't have to worry about the rest. He will care for us, for God is a faithful and good Father. We are His flock, and He has declared that we will inherit His entire kingdom. Our needs are beyond met. When worry creeps into your thoughts, surrender it to the Lord. Lay your anxiety at His feet and let Him minister to your heart. Don't let hardships of this life pile up until you can't step forward under their weight. Pass each burden to your Father as soon as you encounter it and you will find that they lose their power in your life. Prayer. Father, today I give you all my worries and anxiety. I trust you to take care of me and my family. I have confidence in your ability. Fill my heart with peace. Amen.
