"GO tell my people"

"GO Tell My People!"

"And He said to them, 'GO into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature'."
~Mark 16:15

Have you ever thought about how many times the word GO is used in the Bible?  Let's take a look at just a few instances...there are many!!! God told Noah to "GO into the ark". It was used when God told Abram to "GO to the land He would show him" and again when He told Moses to "GO to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt."
One of my favorite passages is found in Isaiah chaper 6 when God ask "who will I send?". Isaiah quickly responds, "here I am, Lord send me". God then tells Isaiah to, "GO and tell My people...".  
In the great commission, Jesus said, "GO therefore and make disciples of all nations..."~Matthew 28:19. Jesus told the woman at the well to "GO and sin no more",
~ John 8:11. In Luke 10: 3 Jesus says to His disciples, "GO your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves." And another favorite passage of mine is the woman with the affliction who had enough faith that she knew she would be healed if she could just touch His robe. "And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. GO in peace, and be healed of your affliction.” ~Mark 5:34.
In all the above scriptures the word GO is used as a command to move forward. Sadly, for many of us, we have become complacent in our walk with God. However, I believe God is telling His people to GO! GO do something for His Kingdom, GO love on folks, GO shine His light to others, GO tell the world He is their Hope, their Peace, their Joy, their Everything!!!
There are so many people right here in our town who are hurting and searching for answers. Those people need Jesus; but how will they know unless we GO tell them! "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few." ~Matthew 9:37. Are you willing to Go?
