"You are God's Possession"

You Are God’s Possession

Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! (Isaiah 43:1b)
When a scripture says something like “do not fear,” I hope you realize that is not a suggestion; it is a command. God, your Father, tells you not to fear. And why not? Because He has redeemed you and, if that is not enough, He calls you by name and says you are His. You are a child of God! I know you may hear that a lot in church, but I do not think we really get that down into our spirit as we should. You are the possession of your God! He owns you; you belong to Him. Why should you fear anything? And of course,
the answer is you should not! I know there are times when all of us lose sight of this and allow fear to creep into our minds. We need to take charge of those thoughts and cast them out because they are not of God, they are of the enemy. Our God loves us, redeemed us, calls us His own, and commands us not to fear.
Father God, You know my every thought, my every desire, and my every action. Many times
those thoughts and desires are not holy and are not in complete line with Your Word. Nevertheless, in spite of everything that You know about me, You still claim me to be Your child. You are not ashamed of me. You will never abandon me. Instead, You have redeemed me, and You give me a command to not fear anything. You are an awesome God. I thank You for Your faithfulness and Your lovingkindness.
In Jesus’s name, I declare this. Amen.
