"Because He Lives, You Live"

Because He Lives, You Live

“Because I live, you also will live.” — John 14:19
You belong to your family in a unique way. You share a bloodline, a name, and an identity. Being part of that family connects you to something greater than yourself.
The same is true spiritually. When you put your faith in Jesus Christ, you become part of His family. You receive a new identity, a new purpose, and the promise of eternal life.
Ephesians 2:1 reminds us that we were once “dead in trespasses and sins.” Sin separated us from God, but Jesus changed everything! Through His death and resurrection, He made a way for us to be forgiven, restored, and brought to life.
His grace covers every failure, every mistake, and every wound. Your past no longer defines you because you now belong to Him.
Because Jesus lives, resurrection power, hope, and victory are part of your new spiritual identity. You are covered by His blood, strengthened by His Spirit, and surrounded by His promises.
Imagine Jesus speaking these words over your life:
“Because I live, you will live. Because I have overcome, you can overcome. Because I have victory, you can walk in victory. You belong to Me now. You are part of My family!”
You are not just forgiven. You have been made alive in Christ! And because He lives, you can face today with confidence and tomorrow with hope.
Prayer: Lord, thank You that because You live, I also have life. Thank You for Your grace, forgiveness, and the new identity I have in You. Help me walk daily in Your victory and remember that I belong to Your family now and for eternity. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
