Where Does the Time Go?

Have you ever looked back over your life and wondered, where did the time go? It seems like the days and years go by so fast. Life is spent looking forward to the next important event, the next accomplishment, or the next chapter. Then, one day, we sit and realize how quickly those days have come and gone. Moments and people, we thought would last forever have become memories.
Sometimes I think we spend so much of our lives looking forward to what comes next that we forget to appreciate what is right in front of us. We fill our days and rush to get responsibilities done, hoping we will slow down when we get past this or that. But the truth is, life rarely slows down on its own.
We cannot turn back the clock. We cannot relive the years that are gone, but we can be more intentional with the time we have been given and appreciate God’s goodness.
Maybe we need to put our phones down a little more and sit a little longer with the people we love. Time is God’s gift. Don’t become so busy making a living, planning for tomorrow, or worrying about things you cannot control that you miss the simple moments today.
Slow down. Be present. Love deeply. Thank God for another day.
Someday, we may look back and realize these little moments were actually the most significant.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for another day. Forgive me for the moments I have rushed through life. Help me to slow down and recognize what truly matters. Remind me to spend time with those I love. Teach me to use my time wisely and live each day in a way that honors You.
